The kinship house is for the benefit and use of all Windriders. Here
are our current guidelines for the house and the storage chests in it.

8 Haven Way, Tum Raen, Falathorn

How to get there: The easy way to make a visit is to use your housing teleport skill, which you'll find on your character's skill tab under Housing. This skill has a 1-hour cooldown and requires Travelling Rations.

History: This house was bought on the very first night that housing was introduced into LoTRO, so we had the pick of the kinship houses in the neighborhood of Tum Raen, which filled up within hours. We're grateful to Farwing, Navthalion and Tryll, who heroically rose to the occasion, selling off beryl shards and digging into their vaults to contribute significant amounts of gold so that we could make the purchase immediately and get the house we preferred. We could not otherwise have bought the house that night. We decided that as leader, Sefarre would contribute 5 gold and leave that in the house. Four others, Farwing, Nav, Zeral and Tryll, contributed varying amounts, but after everyone is paid back the house contributions of these four members will come out to a very generous 2 gold each.

Access: Currently, the house is open to Everyone, meaning that any player can come inside. This may become a nuisance in time, but for the moment we'll leave it that way.

Decoration: At this time, only officers have the ability to use the Decorate mode. (And have they ever been making use of it!) If you do not have decorating permission but wish to add furnishings or surfaces, contact any officer and arrange to meet them at the house. In consultation with other officers, Sefarre reserves the final say on decoration of the house.

Upkeep: The collective cost of maintaining our Kinship House is 300 silver coins per week. This maintenance is paid with contributions from our members. Participation is much appreciated but not compulsory. To view the current payment status click on your Character Journal House Tab. This will bring up the House Rent Summary.
